Throwers Preview for the Paavo Nurmi Games 2015

At tomorrow Paavo Nurmi Games 2015 a lot of throwers are going to compete and fight for victories. Among the start list there are world top leaders such as the recent discus queen from Cuba Denia Caballero, Tero Pitkämäki, Krisztián Pars, Pawel Fajdek, Thomas Röhler and many more.

Tomorrow some world elite throwers are going to compete at the Paavo Nurmi Games 2015 in Turku, Finland. First the women discus event will be a blast with the recent crowned discus queen from Cuba Denia Caballero. She just threw over 70m to beat Sandra Perkovic's world best. Next to Denia ther are also some other throwers who achieved personal bests above 60m. Dragana Tomaševic, Sabine Rumpf and former indoor world record holder Sanna Kämäräinen.

The men's hammer event has also an exciting start list. First off the current world leader and World Champion Pawel Fajdek who will  be fighting for the victory against Dilshod Nazarov, Olympic Champion Krisztián Pars and many more. Mostafa Hicham Al-Gamal, Lukáš Melich, Sergey Litvinov and Szymon Ziólkowski are other top throwers who have a personal best beyond the 80m mark.

The men's javelin event is probably the most interesting one. Everyone is very close together and able to win the competition. There are 7 throwers who produced throws beyond the 82m mark alone this season. Tero Pitkämäki leads with a personal best of 91m the start list and is followed by Ari Mannio, Antti Ruuskanen, Ihab Abdelrahman, Thomas Röhler and others.

The women shot put event does not promise any 20m bombs. Yulia Leantsiuk has a personal best of 19.79m but is 1 meter short this season. Aliona Dubitskaya and Alena Abramchuk are probably the only ones who are capable of beating Yulia Leantsiuk.
