Cedée defied bad weather in Rabat

Despite of a bad weather, Erik Cadée (NED) won at the IAAF World Challenge meet held in Rabat. He threw his best throw 64.06m in his second attempt. He was followed by Frank Casañas (ESP) who threw 63.53m and Jorge Fernández (CUB) who ended up with 62.88m.

Welsh record holder Brett Morse (GBR) was fourth with 61.32 and Gerhard Mayer (AUT) fifth with his season´s best throw of 60.33m.

There were two throwers who represented Morocco. Nabil Kiram was sixth with 54.58m and Amin Atik unfortunately ended up without a result. All his throws were fouls.
