Thomas Röhler breaks the 90m Barrier with a throw of 91.28m

Thomas Rohler improves his world-leading mark to 91.28m at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku.

The German moves up to ninth on the European all-time rankings.

The series of throws was fantastic, and Rohler will most likely be looking towards the Olympic gold medal at Rio

His series of throws for this competition are below, from 1st throw at the top of 6th at the bottom.

85.91m
89.34m WL
91.28m WL
86.25m
91.04m
86.56m

The upcoming Olympic games javelin final will be a must see competition, if it wasn't already, with Julius Yego and his throw over 92m, I can not wait for the final, it is going to be amazing.

Rohler has been in outstanding form this season so far, and I don't think Rohler is done yet, maybe we could see Aki Parviainen's personal best of 93.09 be within reach, Who knows?
