Robert Harting wins in Umeå with 66,48m

Discus thrower Robert Harting current wave of success continues. The Berliner was unbeatable on Tuesday evening at the "Folksam Challenge" in Umeå, Sweden and made in collaboration with David Wrobel a German double victory.

"After Kassel, I succeed at the next competition" celebrated the Olympic champion Robert Harting his second win extensively on his Facebook page. Harting secured his ticket for the Olympic Games in Rio with the national title during his last attempt. This euphoria he took with him to Umea.

With each of his five valid throws he had won the competition, three landed even beyond 65 meters. In the fifth attempt, he threw the discus to 66.48 meters. Next to Kassel it was his second best throw after his comeback after the injury. Harting seems to return to old strength. The weather conditions were 11 degrees far from ideal.

Second place went to David Wrobel, with 63.07 meters David came close to his recently established personal best of 63,51m In Kassel. Tonight will be his last competition prior the Olympic Games in Rio.
