My athletes love the VS shoe. They seem to last.
Another pr. He went 18.35 ( 60' 3.5 ) in our trimeet today with a 12 lb. We have cycled down in preparation for a big invitational Saturday.
So that was a 3' PB?
What was his series?
I'd like to see one more (North) American there as well (if he gets healthy) @Justin RODHE . Let's see how things shake out at the Kansas Relays first.

Stone Cold – The Fortitude of derHarting
by Norm Zÿlstra on August 14th, 2013
Even though that's a April Fools goof it's close to reality in my area. I hear from athletes, esp distance runners, how the best way for them to train. Even parents are beginning to know better. Crazy stuff.
Ha, our harrier coaches call it 'flavor-of-the-month'. It includes all the running rags as well. Some new idea to replace hard work.
@MikkelDK I don't like how your right heel settles in the single support phase in the center of the ring. Once the ball of your right foot hits to center of the ring it's time to lift so you have time to turn.
Not sure if this thread already exists but I saw this video from Nick Garcia.
Looks like some of the stuff I've seen Jean-Pierre Egger assigning to Werner Günthör.
For what I've read and heard @John Smith 's creativity is in how he takes a bit of Bonderchuk and wedges into the NCAA system as best he can. Like it or not the States offers a 4-5 year window for a hammer thrower to make sense of a throwing career.
From my folding chair it looks like the deal-breaker as to whether someone staying in the game or not is community (family and friends) support; not financial issues.
My freshman thrower threw 172' 7 ( 52.5 m) with a 1.6 discus yesterday at the Triton Inv. That is a foot off the California state record.
Excellent, name, age and size?

We coach @Kibwé Johnson , you all owe us a few Canadian medals. Our high jumpers thank you
So out of six we seem to know of, my tax dollars are paying for four foreigners?

-- Martin Bingisser (Swiss?)
-- Kibwé Johnson (USA)
-- Michael Letterlough (Cayman Islands)
-- Crystal Smith (Canada)
-- Yevgeniya Kolodko (Russia)
Who is in Anatoliy Bondarchuk's training group?
In addition to coaching Armstrong, Bondarchuk coaches a cadre of other elite hammer throwers including Canadian record holder Sultana Frizell, former Canadian record holders Jennifer Joyce (not currently) and Crystal Smith, Megann Rodhe, U.S. champion Kibwe Johnson, Caymanian record holder Michael Letterlough, Swiss champion Martin Bingisser and 2012 Canadian Olympian Justin Rodhe.

Is Bondarchuk coaching Armstrong's girlfriend, Russia's Yevgeniya Kolodko?
