No one gives and credibility to Mr. Hill. he did a wonderful throw to make the Olympics team.

Anyone can attend. Coaches cannot coach the college students and the college cannot pay for them to compete.
So the university federation favors the rich thrower and discriminates the poor thrower? Sees very wrong.

What are your thoughts on the IAAF talking the throwers in the world list top 32?
-
I think they should know how to deal with such things by now?
Maybe if the the US had a strong national system but it looks to me as though the shit-storm they call USATF is about funneling money to the executives. New throwers cannot depend on the experience of the veteran coaches, there is no system for that.

If it's well organized why would it be?
The Dutch man are usually great at planning and they will take care of it -
It seems I cannot change the header anymore?
-
I must say again it is so good to see the stance, hurrah for Robert.
-
Mhh Why did Robert not mention the others? Such as Perkovic?
She is not considered for the same award (she would be on the female side) maybe. Also, her testing issue was different than the American sprinter.

It was an African championship that was much closer than on paper. Mozia was said to have fouled on a good throw when it seemed he hadn't fouled, and I think same happened to Jaco. Temperatures were high, I think we competed when it was 34 degrees and that was at 7 o'clock at night. It was unfortunate that we could not throw our best as we are all 20.50 meter plus throwers. Nonetheless, it should be a good Continental Cup there in September.
@orazio - so you and Owaka will be the Africans at the 2014 Continental Cup? -

Twenty-six year old Berlin world champion from Australia Dani Samuels showed her form with a 1st round winner of 62.30m 204-04. Her 3rd round 64.88m 212-10 was well clear of the field and put a gold Commonwealth Games medal in her bag to go along with her bronze from 2006 Melbourne. It is great to see Indian thrower Seema Punia throw a 2014 best in the 5th round, 61.61m 202-01 inspite of being pulled away from her coach @Tony Ciarelli during training. If only the federation would support her as she needs. English Jade Lally won the bronze with her own 2014 best in the 5th round of 60.48m 198-05. Twenty-year old Siostina Hakeai marked herself as a future star with her 4th place result.
