Pretty much what the title says! When you have a horrible day training or at a meet/comp and you know you are in shape to be throwing better, but you just aren't really hitting it and throwing far. What ways do you handle this mentally?
I definitely agree with you there, it really depends on the person I suppose. I feel as long as you sort of ease back into things and don't go too hard right away then it should all work out just fine.
I just finished my season today, and I'm really looking forward to next year. I'd like to hear some thoughts on how soon do you think it is a good idea to get back lifting, drilling, and throwing in preparation for next season. In other words, how much rest is a good amount to take off from training once your season is over? One week? Two weeks?
