    2013 Universiade silver medalist, Inderjeet Singh from India won the shot put at the recently concluded Federation Cup at Mangalore, India with a new personal best of 20.65m (67' 9") . In the process, he also qualified for the 2015 World Championships at Beijing and the 2016 Rio Olympics.     Wang Li of China and Nadeeka Lakmali of Srilanka won their third consecutive gold medal in the Asian Grand Prix series, as it concluded in Colombo on Sunday.

    Su Xinyue was on fire on Wednesday, as she hurled the discus to a new PB of 61.67m(202'3"), thereby, winning the second leg of the Asian Grand Prix Series.
