What are your personal goals for the upcoming year?

Rather late coming into this forum (I'm new here).

I'm an amateur thrower from Singapore who has been throwing for about 4 years now and I'm 17. Am hitting about 11m with the glide but I was thinking of transiting to a spin. The throws scene in Singapore is not very developed with little interest in the thrown. Also, regional standards here are not very high (the region record is mid 18m).

I was wondering how long it would take for me to reach about 15m or so. Any ideas?

Im not too fussed distance wise, however in the hammer i'd like to get a medal at nationals in july, and.in discus i really want to get over 42. (Pbs: hammer 49.44, discus 38.39)

Hey Florian,

I've recently planned to try out the hammer which places me in even more dire straits because there isn't a certified coach for the hammer in my country but I'm determined to try it out. Is there any way you can think of for me to start out the transition of a shot putter to a hammer thrower? Thanks mate!!
