Throwholics Staff Newsletter

Dear SOCIAL.THROWHOLICS user,

2 ½ months ago we launched our own social media plattform. The reason
behind it was to create an even bigger community and open more lines of
communication.

As of today we do have the following statistics:

535 Members – 2,883 Threads – 25,268 Posts (336.91 Posts Per Day)

With this Newsletter I would also like to introduce you to some features we added since the beginning of our social board.

The Ring chat function: With the help of that chat one can talk to
each other very fast, its located on the landing page on the top

THE RING ARCHIVE: Thanks to Kevin Carr, the owner of the original “The Ring” on The Ring , provided Throwholics with the complete archive.

UserMap: All registered users have access to the UserMap at which
users will be displayed who have added their address to their accounts

One can do a radius search or search for a route to a specific user

Linklist: Within our linklist one can add links to a variety of
categories, such as Facebook pages, athlete websites, twitter accounts
and such

Marketplace: With the help of our Marketplace one can
exchange/sell/buy goods from fellow throwers, such as equipment,
clothes, films or what ever you prefer

Thrower’s Wiki: our newest feature is the own Wiki system at which users (hopefully you guys!) can add entries to

We added some categories we thought might be useful, but if you have
suggestions feel free to let us know, so we can change or add them.
One can not only add entries and write up a text about it, one can
also add locations to the facilities and coaches categories. With this
help one can later do a radius search or create a route to a certain
facility or coach/squad

What is next?

More features will be added soon, a calendar which can be filled by
every registered user and one secret feature we think everyone will like
very much.

Before I forget that, we are always looking for interested user to
write articles for our blog on throwholics.com. From events summing up
the results, or doing interview. Or whatever you might think others
would like to read about

We also highly encourage you guys to invite ANYONE you can think of
to SOCIAL.THROWHOLICS to grow even more and faster. We would like to
have an exponential growth rate!

So help us getting bigger and bigger. It would mostly help you guys
out by having more users around who can answer questions and such.
