Walcott has been training with Mastrapa for a few years now resulting in great success at the Olympics games. We all hope he can replicate his gold medal in the UK this summer season. One might know the Castros watch sport closely and the sports ministry must see a benefit for Cuba to be able to credit themselves with Walcott's successes.
The T&Ters are not in Cuba for better weather.

In addition to coaching Armstrong, Bondarchuk coaches a cadre of other elite hammer throwers including Canadian record holder Sultana Frizell, former Canadian record holders Jennifer Joyce (not currently) and Crystal Smith, Megann Rodhe, U.S. champion Kibwe Johnson, Caymanian record holder Michael Letterlough, Swiss champion Martin Bingisser and 2012 Canadian Olympian Justin Rodhe.

Michael and Crystal have retired. He is helping me out, but I am not part of the Kamloops center as I have not been based there since 2010. There are a handful of other national athletes in the group now.
