What a creazy kid...
Maybe @John F. Poirier you're right with 21m-22m

Jacko was old enough to compete at World Indoors as I think he is turning 20 at the end of the year. It would have been great to have him there but he choose not to try and qualify for it and therefor did have a mark.
But his next comp will be NZ Nats at the end of March. Well, that's if he wants to go to the Comm' Games or not
I know, maybe it was written thinking about similar cases like Jacko Gill's....

Who is maybe right again!!??

Within the thread “Jacko Gill | news & notes” in our social discussion board SOCIAL.THROWHOLICS was a discussion about the possible season opener of the great shot put star Jacko Gill from New Zealand. Rumors have been part of the discussion why he did not compete at the World Championships in Sopot, Poland and what […]

Hope he will get well soon... was soo looking forward to the competition between @Tom Walsh and Jacko Gill.
-
Isn't that title a bit harsh?
It's not stated that he will not compete at all, only that there might be a chance.
I still bet he will be there. Even if its at least to get a spot on the team for the Commonwealth Games! -
Do you really believe he would compete if he knows he is going to loose against the great @Tom Walsh ?
highly doubtful. If he is not 100% he will not compete, im quite confident about that -
Guys its just a rumor. Maybe another tactic leaked/spread by his new management team?
Only a way to create attention?
Who knows... he deactivated all his accounts and is totally off the grid.
Not even one of his own @Tom Walsh does know anything for sure.So we should be patient and wait if he is going to compete for real or not

Jacko Gill tweeted the following message earlier today
Quote"Just so everyone knows I'm completely injury free. My last niggle was over 1 year ago. Even if I
was injured I'd still be in Wellington!"Seems like he is good to go.
-
Thanks for the info! I haven't checked his Twitter account lately. He went completely off the grid with facebook profile + page.
-
Thanks @David Kerr !
These are great news! -
So who do you guys think will win the competition?

I just updated the article.
Have a lookHaha, awesome. A dream come true.

And would that dream be?

And would that dream be?
Well the dream would be to be mentioned in a Throwholics article because of throwing achievements, but this is close enough.
