As a coach, I think, you should be able to make that transition pretty easily but I do suggest you do some work in a mirror yourself as a "lefty" so you can demo points/positions to your kids. Plus, tech drills done on opposite side help in learning technique on dominant side better and helping in developing muscle balance which helps prevent injuries. as a side note, my technique in shot & discus in much better right handed than when I actually threw those events and probably equal in javelin- I've done more reps right handed over more than 30 years of coaching.
