Would anyone be able to recommend a credible and worth-while strength training certification program? There are many different types that one could choose from, but has anyone had a good experience from one vs. another.
Thank you in advance!published at Mar 21st 2011 12:07pm on http://www.effortlessthrow.org/

Mick: the ring is a pretty old-school message board. The only way I know of to post video on here is with some fancy html. Your next best bet is to post a vid to youtube and put the link on here.
FSUthrower: The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) gives the CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) exam and certification. Regardless of some issues as to the content of the exam, its the #1 certification in the whole field to have right now. You pretty much can't be a strength coach at a university without it. You have to have a degree in exercise science, phys ed, or a related field to get it though. If you don't have a degree in one of those fields, your next best bet is probably the USAW certification (USA Weightlifting).published at Mar 21st 2011 1:33pm on http://www.effortlessthrow.org/

If tomsonite said that you need an HTML code then I think Youtube has a button where it writes the embed code for you. I'll just try it below.

So for the video you want right below the time bar. There is the like button, favorite button, etc and as long as the person that uploaded the video allows embedding just click the "Embed" button copy the code and post it.

Unless they have changed the rules, any degree work, I have a Design degree. Just read the book and then review it and the test is easy. Remember they are looking for the book info not the real info. They had a question about training for the shot that I did not understand so stick to the book.
