Does anyone have a blueprint or instructions for making an indoor circle.
We are making one for the Australian summer. I think it is too expensive to ship an indoor shot circle over from the states.
I would like to know measurements. Types of wood to use and types of paint to use to finish the circle.
If anyone has any information about this that would be great.
Thanks

I see on video the shot and weight circles I made for Virgina Tech back in early late 80s are still used today. Here are instructions:

However, don't know if Australia's lumber is measured in imperial or metric, so may or may not work for you..published at Jan 31st 2010 1:18am on http://www.effortlessthrow.org/

Just watched the video on Macthrow and was laughing out loud at how incredibly easily Cantwell was throwing 70'. That was ridiculous...Cantwell is so good right now that he could throw 21m left handed, blindfolded after 20 shots of jagermeister....an absolute joke at this point.
The only question now is who will be the #2 shotputter in the world in 2010.published at Jan 31st 2010 4:55am on http://www.effortlessthrow.org/

New Drill for Countering Hammer
Step One: Go to hospital and wait for baby to get head stuck halfway out of birth canal.
Step Two: Attach suction cup to top of baby's head; attach hammer wire to suction cup.
Step Three: Align feet so that baby is at the low point of orbit at 12 o'clock (back of the ring), feet parallel.
Step Four: Apply hard heel with left foot, ball of right foot (switch for left handed thrower).
Step Five: Keep arms straight, shoulder blades back and spine in neutral position.
Step Six: Lower tail/bend legs, and pull back with body against the resistance of baby stuck in birth canal. Keep left heel hard, arms long, spine neutral, and eyes focused on baby.
Step Seven: Continue lowering, correcting posture and form and pressing hard against the floor until baby passes through birth canal. Coach catches baby before hammer wire becomes damaged.
PS: If unable to complete drill, carefully remove hammer wire from suction cup. Call operating room personnel to remove baby. Go home and complete a six-week high pull/front squat cycle before re-attempting drill.
