I just received 4 new 20# weights from Dominator Athletics. They are extremely well built and well thought out. The great thing about these weights is that they are built by a thrower so all the complaints throwers and coaches tend to have regarding the other weights on the market are taken in to consideration and improved upon. Steve Bartholomew owner and operator of Dominator Athletics has spent a lot of time and effort in the conception and construction of his weights, and they are definitely worth looking into http://www.dominatorathletics.com
Side note, Steve hand delivered the 4 weight to me in Bowling Green and during his visit we made it into the weight room. I had heard tell of Steve's impressive grip strength and wanted to see it first hand. Being that our weight room has all of the Captains of Crush grippers I thought it would be a great place to see what he could do. He warmed up with the #2 gripper for 5 reps, and then went to the #3 for 3 more reps. Steve then grabs the #4 and came withinpublished at Aug 27th 2009 2:00am on http://www.effortlessthrow.org/

Quote from Coach B
As a young thower I was taught to rip the left arm, and for years I taught this same technique to my throwers. But in the last few years I have taught my throwers to do nothing with it. And after hearing what both John Godina and Jeff Gorskey have said about this subject, I no longer coach it that way. I have my athletes just work on blocking with the left side. As Jeff states, as you block hard with the left side, the right moves past the left and it looks as if the left arm is being pulled. Hopefully Jeff sees this conversation and explains his theory to all of us.

That completely made my day. Had a good chuckle for atlesat 5 minutes....However, Over rotation of every turn. Could be a better throw if you tighten up those turns. The sit was very good through the whole throw ;0)

A new Sport? Wonder how many time it took them to accomplish this? Wow, what a good Block. Now on the down side, How big was the ring? It had to be a illegal throw because the ring was bigger then 7 feet. And that thrower had to be on roids, and Android, he had to be one of those robots. Wonder what Honda thinks about the nation of toyota is doing to get ahead in the game? ! Hooot
