Happy Holidays to all the throwing animals out there ... even the gorillas.
Here's hoping all your lives are filled with happiness and that you get to spend some much-needed time with family and friends.

I am not a igh profile coach, but I thought the vid looked good, If you were mine, I wuld try to get you push harder -earlier out of the back to elimnate the long time it takes to get your left foot to the front. If ou lwant to give it a try, push off left and try to drive the left knee into the rightknee and keep the great right foot at CP turning. Your knee will not collide and the left foot I believe will get down much quicker. With a good block and right foot hard turn the right side will follow more quickly. I believe. Good luck in the coming year. Captain - what a great video. Especially for a 1958-1962 Thrower of the great wooden javelin. 236'6" in Chicago meet at Alonzo stagg field.Merry Christmas and Happy new year from Sub-cold Nebraska and 40 mile an hour wind out of the east. Wish Norm would keep them in Iowa. Typed not proofed. C.B. Nebraska N2THROS

Quote from ironman
As I was running around picking up employees to bring to work in our snowstorm.....I get stuck even with my chains on.
Dug myself mostly out, but was then blocking a fire engine that needed to get buy.
Out pops this big strapping fireman that introduces himself. He had been a DII national champ hammer thrower for Western Oregon a few years ago.
He recognized me and he and his fellow firefighters got me on my way.
As I recall he wasn't much of a technician...he fell under Togher's quote that surfaced recently on The Ring: "Just throw the bloody thing!"published at Dec 23rd 2008 3:58am on http://www.effortlessthrow.org/

Quote from brown
I'd rather throw and eat than run and puke!
Not original, but certainly my favourite.
I have found that you can induce a certain jealousy in track athletes by eating all the way up and through a competition.published at Dec 23rd 2008 9:20pm on http://www.effortlessthrow.org/

Crazy sons a bitches...Puking is not the worst that happens. If you've ever been at the finish line of a marathon you know what I'm talking about. That might be the single most disgusting thing I've ever been around. Doing an activity that could cause you to puke, pee, and dump on yourself during one race doesn't sound like fun to me. Top it off with some bloody nipples and I stay as far away as possible.
