Quote from mullerThings are lining up for a crazy round 6. Three guys have potential to bump some people around. The gliders are clutch. This is crazy.

Quote from Christian SalasStill one round to go, but this is unbelievable! Who would've thought NO American would medal!? I suppose a slick rain would generally favor a glider, but I thought our US boys were prepared for that sort of thing, especially Reese. What happened??
I'm very excited for Dylan Armstrong, our local connection. He's worked hard and deserves this.
Just goes to show anything can happen. The sad thing is this will probably affect how much TV coverage the shot put will get...

Quote from brownIf anyone knows how you can transfer programs recorded on a digital cable box to a computer, please send me an email, and I'll then be able to get most of the final throws to MACThrow....I must say that eurosport was impressive in the number of throws shown.

Quote from JamomotoDisplay MoreIs there anyone not at the Beijing stadium who actually saw any of the mens shot?
In Australia we got to see a lot of sentimental montages of events that occurred an hour ago in the swimming pool... and dressage.
It's a long way from Athens when i got to see the coverage of the entire final live. Different network, different priority.
So, thanks to the ring, and the ringers, because otherwise, it would be a lonely affair, sitting at the computer by myself, waiting for the live results page on NBC to update.
Hard luck to the Aussies in Q, and Nelson and Hoffa in the final. Congrats to the medalists and those with PB's.
Once again, the Olypmic shot surprises us.
