Quote from Norm BalkeDisplay Morefor throwing.
I am totally buff from lifting, bagging and tossing sandbags. More today.
I am on high ground, but I have a friend with a business close to the river that we have been trying to shore up. We are going to go try to build the wall just a little bit higher, maybe he can dodge this bullet?
UI track is totally flooded, it's a shame, they were working on renovating it for next year's Big 10 meet.
As bad as it is here, Cedar Rapids is far worse. Some of the national media has been getting Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Des Moines mixed up. Strangely, they all have had different flood issues at different times. Plus, the rivers affected don't apply to all cities. For instance, if there was 10 inches of rain in Waterloo, it would affect Cedar Rapids, but not Iowa City. And any flood events in Des Moines do not affect the CF, CR, Waterloo, or IC. And the Mississippi is a little high, but not a big problem at this time.
My usual email has been out for days, but this one has been working most of the time:

I hope you all enjoyed the meet in DM, I know they are hoping to be in the mix for future OT, NCAA, and USATF meets.
