this is what I was afraid you would do Scratch , accuse someone that you have heard rumors about , thereby ruining his name and casting a shadow of suspicion around him. It is mean spirited by you and a bad move , I assume you could be sued for what they call SLANDER! which could also lead to THE RING being shut down for allowing a known ''loose cannon'' to run wild over the site.

I do not know Noah Bryant but he seems like a very hard working determined athlete , who can back up his success and has plenty of negative tests to prove his point. You would lose that suit in a landslide , but then again a court will not allow accusations in without a witness that is identified by the court , and you haven't yet said your name. So why should we? If your name is BRIAN KORN then you should be worried ...Mr. Bryant is not going to like this, and I am sure will use all efforts to make sure it doesn't happen again. that means it usually would cost you money...how else do ya make one shut the hell up with such a big mouth.

Lastly, any intelligent person would be talking about how Noah Bryant is such a great technician and has competed so well for such a young thrower. But it seems your motivation is only to disrupt and confuse....I seriously hope the staff of THE RING take a good hard look at withdrawing your membership , so the rest of us can enjoy the site without being disrupted and annoyed by childish irresponsible games .

at such a high level he would know you get tested every time you win something big, such as the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor champs. Also, an athlete at a D1 level has tests on a random basis and coach required basis. Because of the potential for charges like this idiot, wannabe "thrower" makes, Noah was tested several times at USC. Noah took and passed six tests this year alone. That doesn't count the times he was tested in years past - including high school. More than once my wife and I went to hug our son after a meet and were shooed away by an official who was immediately taking Noah off to be tested. Scratch if you ever competed past the 16.40 level you might be aware of what really takes place. Did they test you at your JC? I hope we meet some day, you pathetic coward.

Over the last few weeks the main discussion has been about steroids and bickering over the subject. There was a time when we came on to this and exchanged great training ideas and knowledge between coaches and throwers. It just seems that we have gotten away from that.

Drugs and cheaters will always be around in our sport. As of right now, I guarantee you that some chemist in a lab is designing the next undetectable steroid.

The talk of Roids will always be here. I just miss the technique and training tips that I used to get from this site.

Also there are 3 more that I'm aware of, The one in So.Cal on the Beach with all the Bikinis and surfboards! The one in the Bay Area at Logan High School the 2nd weekend of Feb and about the same time at the UC Davis. Fu and Bloom do that one...And then theres a Discus Clinic Nov 9&10. But no info there.

Like MrIncredible says he misses the tech and training tips. I'm sure many and specially the younger throwers and even the older ones to HAVE questions. So its up to you to ask and here is a suggestion. "Don't Bring up the talk about "DRUGS AND CHEATERS!"" Ask about what is good for you, Like,
Whats the best way to lift in Pre-season, Early Season, Comp Season and what do you lift and WHY? Who has an answer?!

I don't think this is true.
It was probably a line Mr Bondarchuk used to stop the conversation then and there.

Anything might work but not for long and not as well as a great programme.
Anyone would understand that even top athletes that might have used drugs din't just train any way they liked and let the drugs do the work.
Drugs do help, but let's not take this to the other extreme.

These are my exact feelings regarding the drug talk. I have always not liked to bring specific questions up on the board regarding drugs because many will immediately cry foul and declare no reason to discuss drugs, and advise stop ruining the discussions. I always believed that this information was invaluable as Glenn has said. I am glad these discussions have happened to open the eyes and mind of many, and have provided people like myself with a little bit more information and possible validation regarding drugs in our sport. This isnt about pointing fingers, as it is about understanding the use and its relation to training, performace, etc. thanks to all who have chimed in on these discussions. Hopefully that we have gotten to this point, some of us can relax and not be so defensive in response to some of the discussions. We all want to learn, improve, help others ( I hope), and continue to THROW FAR.. Lets continue to help one another..

    Thanks everyone
