2013 Female Thrower of the Year

  • In a move the surprised even the most avid throwing fans Val Adams is AGAIN selected at Track & Field News Athlete of the Year. That gives her back-to-back AOY honors from the Bible of the Sport. Surprised not because Val does not deserve it, surprised because field eventers usually get stiffed during post-season awards (see IAAF).
