Kibwé - First 80 footer
Description
While searching for a classic video of one of the hammer greats, I came across this gem and thought I'd share. This throw was the first legal 80' throw of my short weight throw career before moving exclusively to hammer. I fouled an 80' in 2005 at the same venue. December 3, 2006. Findlay, Ohio. I thew 80' from the sling (or push) start (video), and 80'6" from one wind technique. It was the first time an American had thrown 80' since 1998.So long ago!
