LSU senior Walter Henning successfully defended his national title in the men's 35-pound weight throw with his victory at the 2011 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in College Station, Texas. This video features three successive throws of 72-2 1/4 on his second attempt, 72-0 1/4 on his third attempt and his winning throw of 72-8 1/2 on his sixth and final throw of the competition.
