How has your training been going recently?
Training has been going ok… I hurt my shoulder while I was in Germany doing a snatch lift so still trying to get that 100% right but other than that it’s going well
What is the focus of your training schedule?
My focus now (besides from getting my shoulder right) is to keep the throwing ticking along but really work on getting nice and dynamic in the gym… Speed is the key now.
Will you be attending any training camps at another site? If so, where and when?
I’m at home in WA (Perth) at the moment. I head to the Australian camp in Japan on the 17th of August and then to China on the 25th.
Who is your current coach?
My coach is Grant Ward who is from Perth and at home too.
Are you currently working a job? If so, what and how many hours a week?
No not working… I do a lot of talks at schools and attend functions etc which keep the bills paid
What competitions do you have planned?
Only Worlds planned for competition… Had my last pre-Worlds comp at the London DL.
Will any friends or family be travelling to Beijing?
My parents and my housemate are coming over to watch the Championships which is awesome… Always nice to have people there just for you.
