How has your training been going recently?
Currently, I am not as fresh as I should be. But in general the preparations are going quite well for the World Championships.
What is the focus of your training schedule?
Actually, the focus is a bit on everything. If I have to choose only one focus, then I would stay fine-tuning my technique.
Is there anything new you are implementing into your training?
No, there is nothing new so close before the World Championships. My recent personal best leads to the conclusion that the training is going pretty well and according to our plan.
What technical issues are you working on?
We continue to work to ensure that I jump flat into the pulse step, stay back with my upper body and have the arm stretched to the back.
Where are you currently training?
We are currently in the National Training Centre in Kienbaum. This is followed by a few days at home and then we leave on the 15th of August for acclimatization in Jeju, South Korea. From there we fly to Beijing on the 25th of August.
Who is your current coach?
Are you training with your coach on site or long distance?
My coach is always around and he will also be travelling with me to Asia.
Are you currently working a job? If so, what and how many hours a week?
No I do not work. Currently, I am enrolled as a student but this season I do take one semester off.
What competitions do you have planned?
I will not do any competitions prior the World Championships.
Will any friends or family be travelling to Beijing?
Unfortunately, neither my friends nor my family is travelling to Beijing, but I hope that there are many of them in front of a TV cheering for me.
