At the EAP Meeting in Loughborough, Great Britain Brett Morse won the men’s discus event coming close to his season best. Goldie Sayers threw a season best to win the women’s javelin competition and Jade Lally took the victory in the women’s discus event.
Brett Morse won the men’s discus event with 63.06m. This attempt is just a few centimeters short of his season best of 63.42m, also thrown in Loughborough in May. The Italian discus thrower Hannes Kirchler placed 2nd with his best attempt of 61.15m, followed by the Dutch throwers Erik Cadée (60.53m) and Rutger Smith (60.44m).

Goldie Sayers, who has a personal best of 66.17m, thrown in London back in 2012, won the competition with 59.53m. It was her first appearance in 2015. Izzy Jeffs threw also a new season best of 57.39m to became 2nd.
First throws off a full run up this year today at #LEAP so have to be happy with 59.56m. A few tweaks and it will go much further next week.

Jade Lally, also from Great Britain, won the women discus event with 58.16m and Sarah Holt won the hammer event with 67.27m.
The Italian hammer thrower Marco Lingua threw a new personal best to leave the British throwers behind. His best attempt was measured 78.29m to secure the first place. Mark Dry placed 2nd with 76.56m and Chris Bennett 3rd with 74.02m.
