In an recent article, Throwholics wrote about the German discus battle in Halle (Battle for the top Women German discus throwers). Nadine Müller, Shanice Craft and Julia Fischer have already confirmed to compete in Halle. Anna Rüh, the fourth of the incredible discus quartet, now also announced to compete at the biggest throwing competition in the world, The Halplus Werfertage. The competition will be held on the weekend 16th/17th of May.
Anna Rüh, who placed fourth at the recent European Championships, has also a really good shot on one of the three tickets to the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, China (22th to 30th of August). The qualification standard is set by the DLV to 61.50m (201′ 9″) which should not be a hurdle for any of the four discus throwers.
