Currently I live in my own apartment in Stuttgart, Germany. During the winter and summer I’m doing my training sessions with Tobias Dahm, Alina Kenzel, Michael Salzer, my younger sister Katinka and some more upcoming athletes. Since my last competition in Rovereto (3rd of September) I have not taken my hands on a shot again and I will only start throwing the ball in mid of November. My main goal for the upcoming season is to improve my rotational technique. Especially the part when I lift my right foot and the twist of my uper and lower body.
My main lifting exercises are squats, leg press, neck press and snatch. In the future I will not change my training squad and I will keep my current coach Peter Salzer which I do see every single day. He is the regional coach in Baden Würtemberg and every day as the Olympic center in Stuttgart.
During my building phase I focussed on endurance training, I’ve been running all the time and riding my bike. Additionally, I did a lot of general preperation training. In order to relax I do a lot of contrast bath (warm/cold) sessions and I’m always happy to receive massages by my physio. Sometimes, I go to the thermal bath to even relax further.
My first competition will be in January and I will keep you updated about that.
