First of all let me say. Thank God for life. Good health and strength. Love and blessings to my positive supporters and fans. Respect to Throwholics.
The 2014 discus season has been good to me. I broke few records and break down some barriers, for myself and my country Jamaica. Common Wealth Games Bronze medalist and Continental Cup 3rd place finish.
Its my off season now. So Ii am just focusing on improving my technique. Being real patient on the parts of the throw that i rush. I add a couple new exercise in my off season training. Swimming and in house yoga. I am doing my cardio and stretches to improve my flexibility. I also work a full time job and i do private lesson coaching. I have to Do my hustle so i can provide for myself and family and pay for my meets and implements to throw. I am still seeking assistance and sponsor. But i am focus on my mission until that granted to me. I have to find time to do all of this plus put in the training i need to make a positive impact like i have for all these years.
I am officially in my 4th week of training and its going amazing. I am throw overweight implement right now and conditioning. My distances are ridiculously far, way ahead than previous years. I wont say what i am throwing. Haha But with these early signs. 2015 season going to be very special. I can feel it in my mind and body. I am also focus on loosing some weight and let more leaner.
Everyday after practice i look into the sky and say “Thank you God, A world championship medal seems possible” My weight room strength have increase also. Its crazy. I am doing 10reps with 405lbs. I learned a lot over this past summer on what i can work on in my off season and pre season to throw much farther and improve my PB of 67.15m. I am working hard honestly to be a top thrower on the circuit and Worlds and carry that momentum through 2016 Olympic Games. Keep it Timeless!!
