During this off-season I’ve been mostly been working on my fitness level. Mainly on my throwing endurance.
I’ve notice that being on the circuit requires that you be able throw far multiple times with short periods of rest in between. So that’s why I am working on that. I believe that being able to throw a certain distance repeatedly in practice.
Another thing I am working on is my technique. That has been something I’ve been working on for three years with my college coach, Carrie Lane, mainly because three years ago I changed my technique around a little and I’ve improved over the years, but not like I wanted. If anyone, I use Ehsan Haddadi as a technical model.
So this off-season getting my technique to a point where there is nothing I need to work on is one of my goals.
Well, I’m still in school. I am in my last year of school at the University of Nebraska so I’ll be in Lincoln for the winter. I’ll be training with the UNL track team here in Lincoln. I talk to coach Lane on a weekly basis since she moved to Colorado. I play FIFA with my friends to relax of watch TV. I plan on going to Arizona for vacation/ track & field meet in March, this will be my first meet.
