The German top shot putter and European Champion Christina Schwarnitz will start her rehab training in November. Shot Put European Champion Christina Schwarnitz is on a good way back in he ring after her knee surgery. In the beginning of November Christina will begin the rehab training. It is still a long way to go.
Good things come to those who wait. The surgery was successfull but unfortunately, the healing process takes longer than expected. I had to see the doctor a couple of times to puncture my knee. Slowly my knee looks normal again and I do not need as much help to walk anymore.
I still cannot think of training. I need time and should be patient until my kneed has it full power again. But I’m out of the woods (I hope). In November I will begin with my rehab training. Being sick is not nice.
Thank you all for your kinds words.
Schwanitz – No decision about the indoor season yet.
Schwarnitz’s coach Sven Lang denied a report of the Bild newspaper that Christina would not compete at the European Indoor Chanpionships. “The decision has not been made yet”, said Lang. Lang is currently the coach of Christina Schwanitz and David Storl. A final decision for or against the indoor season will be made during the rehab training which will begin in November.
