Today I had only one false attempt – it had to be like this today! Those who know me well, know that I often have up to two false attempts at championships. But that is impossible at home, in front of my home crowd. I achieved a PB but I would have liked to throw a little bit further today. But if I continue to make small steps forward like today, I cannot complain. I have much more fun knowing and feeling that the audience really follows the competition like today. So I encouraged them before my second attempt.
It was not my day today. But the 11 points for the Polish team is a good result for me. David had a good performance, season best, he deserved to win. But I am sure I will manage to throw over 21 meters in following competitions again, maybe in Paris. There were just small problems with technique today. I like Braunschweig a lot because of the people supporting us despite the cold weather.
