Philip Milanov, a 22-year-old discus thrower from Belgium, vanishes the national record of 64,24m (210′ 9″) by Jo Van Daele. Van Daele threw this mark back in 2001. At the meeting in Franse Loos he pulverized his personal record, which stood at 61,94m (203′ 2″). His throw is in the very early outdoor season the world’s second best of 2014. Only Fedrick Dacres has thrown further with 64,39m (211′ 3″).
