Jacko Gill with a 23m bomb and a new U20 World Record!

Double World Champion David Storl tossed the 6kg shot to 22,73m in July 2009. This was not only a new personal best for him but also the new U20 World Record. The New Zealander Jacko Gill is on the same track as David Storl and tossed the 6kg shot even further than the current World Champion did. On Sunday the 18th of August Jacko Gill drops 23m bomb and improved the World Record by 27cm.
Last Sunday Jacko Gill, one of the future greats of shot putting, broke the U20 World Record by dropping a massive 23m bomb and underlined his potential for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
The video of the 23m toss is below this article and furthermore the complete 14 minute interview after breaking the world record is linked as well.
The world record is still not ratified by the IAAF but that is expected as it always takes some time for any record to be ratified.
