Robert Harting achieves the first World Record

Its done! WORLD REKORD from Jürgen Schult is Mine! Thanks to everybody who made it possible.
Robert Harting just announced via his Twitter account @DerHarting that he is now the holder of the World Record for being unbeaten for the most days in a row. The previous record was held by Jürgen Schult with 1002 days. Now there are only two other world records left which he would like to achieve. The one, which he might be able to do, is the winning streak by Virgilijus Alekna. The second one is definitely going to be very tought, the world record by Jürgen Schult. In order to be able to throw the 74.08m (243′) perfect conditions have to come in place.
Additionally, Robert Harting just launched his brand new website! It might be confusing for some of you at the beginning but you will get used to it. He has a pretty interessting statistic area which one should check out.
Harting was not sure if he would be competing in Wiesbaden today, but as one can see/listen in the video below he is excited for the competition. He predicts some strong wind which might help him to throw a massive season opener. Current world leader is the Australian Benn Harradine with 68.20m (223′ 9″).
