The following statement was just published by Nadine Müller on her Facebook page: HERE
one or the other of you has already received the news:
Unfortunately, I had to move my season opener and could neither start at Werfer Cup 2013 in Wiesbaden nor at the competition in Rehlingen.
After my training camp in South Africa I have suffered an injury to my hip, which put me out of action a few weeks – even the entire season was at stake.
This injury has set my fitness level back a lot. We decided, at the training camp in Portugal, to change the training programm. The entire staff (coaches, physiotherapists, etc.) have tried to get me back on track for the Werfer Cup 2013 – unfortunately this was not entirely successful. Therefore, we decided to cancel both starts. It would not have been possible for me to offer you the performance you would expect and deserve.
So I’ve spent the last few days with recovery to adjust myself for the upcoming week, which is completely under the motto:
“Getting in shape for the new season opener!” – The “Halplus Werfertage” in Halle, Germany will unexpectedly my new season opener. The competition is the biggest throwing competition in the world!
I’m looking forward to seeing one or two of you there and I would like to compete with all of you guys in my back.
Greets your Nadine
Throwholics wishes Nadine all the best for her recovery! Good luck with your new season opener.
