David Storl has his brand new website ready for his build-up to Moscow. The young German just announced via Facebook that he switched from adidas to NIKE and in the same announcement that his new website is live.
Right now his website is only available in German but the English version should be up soon. You can run it through Google’s Chrome broswers for a translation. One should really check out his new website for several reasons. The landing page offers rotating images of the World and Olympic medalist along with a list of achievements.
Near the bottom one will find the his latest news and the very cool video of the London Games.
Furthermore, the page provides the visitor with a small list of his biggest achievements since 2007. One can view all his championship medals. To zoom int he view just click on the medal for a detailed look.
In addition to all that, he has a a news section and an overview of his last competitions. He even has a photo gallery which shows him on the last big competitons he had.
One of the most important part of his website is the team section which presents his trainer Sven Lang who is not only his home trainer (personal coach) but also the national head coach for the men’s shot put in Germany. Also his team includes an orthopedist and his physiotherapist. Without that team he would not been there where he is right now.
Peter Sack, a former German Shot Putter, developed this great website. Check out some other websites he already did for the German athletes.
Maybe Storl figured this was his only shot at getting his hands on some green.
Throwholics wishes him all the best for the upcoming season!
