Earlier this year Tony Zeuke threw 61,54m and Throwholics accidently named him as leader of the World. Jake Stein corrected this post and told us that his training partner Matty Denny was still leading with his 62,14m from January.
Today at the German National Championships Tony Zeuke improved his personal best by 4m to 64,48m and pushed him to the top of the world.
Henning Prüfer, who became second in this competition, improved his season best to 60,43m and was only one meter short on his personal best from last year.
Therefore, Germany has now three U18 Discus Throwers who threw further than 60m. Patrick Müller, who did not compete today, threw already 60,20m in January.
