Couple of days ago the Hungarian media announced that the former European Champion Róbert Fazekas has failed a drug test and left out from the Hungarian squad for the Olympic Games in London.
“Hungarian discus thrower and Olympic hopeful Róbert Fazekas has been axed from the Hungarian Olympic squad for London 2012 as the anabolic steroid, stanozol, has been detected in his system in a random drug test.”
Now, Fazekas competed in Croatia where he launched a decent 63.78m ahead of Martin Marić (62.50m). Was it a rumor?
