On Saturday, after a rough meet at the ERGO World Games, some of those throwers that competed in Tallinn, drove to a beautiful and quiet city in southern part of Estonia, TÃµrva, to finish their season and show to a local kids how to throw discus.
The meet was organized by Turva city government and has been held every year after the ERGO Games. Conditions in TÃµrva are rough when it rains because a discus circle there is built of plywood. However, this year the weather was good and most of throwers did better than in Tallinn on Thursday.
Iran´s Ehsan Hadadi, a bronze medallist of the World Championships, won the competition with 63.86m. He was followed by Roland Varga (60.40), Gerhard Mayer (59.73) and Martin Maric (57.70).
