For the first time Throwholics arranged a challenge between two throwing athletes. For the first challenge we picked Egyptian record holder, the African champion Omar El-Ghazaly (PB 66.56m) and Erik Cadee (NED) who has a lifetime best of 66.95m.
The challenge was about hitting the target with blinded eyes. The target was set to 50 meters and both throwers threw with their eyes blided, and they had to throw from the standing position. On his las attempt Erik Cadée slightly hit the target and grabbed the victory. Omar El-Ghazaly missed the target in all attemps.
From now on in every once in a while we test throwers in extreme conditions and see how can they handle the equiptment in different occasions.
Throwholics says a big thanks to Helis Lepasson (EST) for filming work and Piret Alvre (EST) for the special effects.
