The junior world record holder Mykyta Nesterenko (UKR) who has a lifetime best of 65.31m since 2008 and has been struggling with injuries and lack of motivation, now threw 64.54m in Kyev.
It´s his second best effort all-time. Probably his row of throws – 61.50, 61.43, 62.96, 64.54, 61.93, 62.44- is his best series ever.
The competition was held on 20th July, today he competed at the Ukrainian Championships and got silver with 61.14m behind Ivan Hryshyn who threw a new lifetime best of 64.96m.
The season´s top list is strong, both Nesterenko and Hryshyn doesn´t find their name in top 20. The world leader is Zoltan Kovago (HUN) with 69.50m, 20th is Mario Pestano (ESP) with 65.69m!
